Gareth Jones, Farfetch CMO
Founded in 2007, Farfetch has quickly cornered the boutique, high end fashion space with its luxury marketplace. As a result it’s share price has increased by 600% in the last year alone.
With its main two hubs in London and Porto, this truly international company has offices in 14 countries, shipping 360 brands across 3 billion items of stock to a staggering 190 countries across the world.
Gareth joined Farfetch in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic and was previously the CMO of Ebay UK. His multi-sector marketing experience was carefully curated with prior stints at T -Mobile, Capital One, Carphone Warehouse and Compare the Market forming the backbone of his career.
In this podcast Gareth talks about his varied background, how Peaky Blinders and Leicester City can affect consumer spend, and how Farfetch works with both global boutiques and brands on an eConcession model.
